Door Panels

I know I keep bringing this up. I have thought long and hard and I am going to go, or stay with my original Scottsdale door panels in my 79.

I bought my first set from Classic parts
I think these
https://www.classicparts.com/1977-80...nfo/19%2D253G/

Classic parts have always had good products, but these were junk, fragile, did not fit good and cracked upon install

Great costumer service, took back no questions

On to the next set LMC

I think these
https://www.lmctruck.com/1973-87-che...l-set-no-strap

Fit great looked OK, but cracked after the first winter right next to the window. about 5 years ago, bothers me every time I get in the truck. unto the next best thing

https://www.usa1industries.com/1977-...airs-only.html

Question is, are these the next best thing? They look pretty cheap. I am looking for stock Scottsdale panels for my 79

Is this the best option out there? I know USA1 panels for 81-87 look amazing, just not willing to change my internals.

Thoughts?

Re: Door Panels

Be prepared to wait forever... I`ve heard good thing about USA1 quality but they take forever to ship. After reading so many good reviews on their dash pads i ordered A kit For my `87.
May 3rd 2022 ordered it was told 12 weeks, then added 4, then 4 more... 19 weeks Still waiting.

Re: Door Panels

Someone I know waited 9 months for these, from USA1. He said it was WELL WORTH the wait. His quote, “these are the Cadillac of the door panels”.
And these would be more correct for your 79, than the 81-87 door panels.

Those particular ones, I heard they were cheap. You would have to get the other style, those are better made. Of course you can almost tell they are cheap, they are cheap $$$ wise.

What I figured, don't want to replace crap with crap. looks almost the exact same as what I have that cracked. I may upgrade to the silverado panels

Thanks
Chris

Re: Door Panels

Alright folks, I am thinking of the following

https://www.usa1industries.com/1977-...panel-kit.html

I have black dash and carpet, grey seat. think the black would look ok?

Has anyone here ordered this style of the custom trim (lower level trim).

Re: Door Panels

I got mine after about 13-14 months but I kept getting the run around until told them I needed a refund then they were here the following week! I was planning to replace mine with 91 panels from Mexico if they didn’t ship my order
