Brothers body bushings - before I loose it help

I ordered a cab bushing kit, radiator support bushing kit and bed bushing kit from Brothers on 6-25 and got a confirmation the next day.

A week later I'm wondering where they are and I can find no tracking info. I call them Tuesday 7-3 and my order has been lost somewhere, they say they will get it out immediately. I give them the Holiday and still get no confirmation on Thursday so I call them again and they are mailing them out on that day.

I call Friday because I still get no confirmation and the guy says they will be delivered Saturday, which is today. Well finally they show up today and I am all excited because I have been on hold to get the bushings replaced, mainly on the core support to fire the new engine up.

I open them up and recognize the core support bushings and the cab bushings I only seem to have 2. I also received 4 more big rubber bushings that I have no idea what they are for. So now I have waited 2 weeks and still do not have the cab bushings I ordered.

Please tell me these huge bushings are some new and improved something or another and how to use them, they have a hole on one end and kind of hollow.. I am pretty sure you can not..... I think I should have 4 of the ones in the bottom of the picture. That was what was shown when I ordered them. Help please.

They may be for a 3/4 ton. It seems that the kit has a dual purpose. If you do not use them I could always make use of em.

Let me know!

That's what I ordered but not what I got.... The 2 on the right are for the radiator support, the 2 on the bottom are correct cab mounts. The other 4 are maybe 1923 log truck bushings for all I know.

Thanks Toolbox. I believe that is what I got. I don't know why but it is what it is. Gonna call them monday and the correct stuff. Are the ones on the front of a 3/4 the regular ones?

Here is a pic of my front cab bushings. 3/4 ton setup. I would have gotten back sooner yet I am kinda busy.

Hope this helps.

Oh, I did not remember there being a ground strap there, good to know.

Re: Brothers body bushings - before I loose it help

Brothers shipping Dept flat out is aweful. Both Jamie and Josh at Brothers truck told me flat out lies about when I would received the shipment and when it was actually shipped out.
I was trying to finish my truck before a scheduled back surgery and relied on these two jokers to get the last pieces needed to wrap it up.
Empty promises to get you off the phone.
Urgh.

Well, I definitely got the 3/4 ton setup and I did not order it. Will it make a difference you think if I go ahead and use them, the bigger ones on the back?

Re: Brothers body bushings - before I loose it help

If you have a 1/2 ton frame under your truck the rear bushings ( the ones between the cab & frame mounts ) will be too tall and your cab will sit high in the back. On 3/4 tons & 4x4's the bracket riveted to the frame is lower than on a 1/2 ton. Look at the pictures posted above and compare them to your truck.

You really need to get the correct bushings !

Re: Brothers body bushings - before I loose it help

Thanks everyone. Calling now to see if they can replace the 2 I'm missing. Not a good experience so far. Think I will stick with LMC from here out. Everything they have sent has been quick and on the money so far.

You should give Southern Kentucky Classics a try , they are great to deal with .
