Power Steering Pump Question

I'm looking at buying a CVF serpentine belt system but don't know the pros and cons of the power steering pumps. I currently have the standard Saginaw pump with a tear drop reservoir and I may eventually add a hydroboost system. Is there an advantage to using the gen II type? I see they run cooler but does that matter much? There is also the option for remote or attached reservoirs, I like the idea of attached for convenience. Any thoughts on how to best proceed? CVF also has the option for for a pump that supports hydroboost so I will call them to get more information but would like to hear input from anyone that has experience with either pump. Thanks!

Re: Power Steering Pump Question

Don't know for sure, but I think the Hydro pumps may have there pressure boosted a little bit, but they also have 2 return ports on the canister.
