He's a little further out of Columbus in London, has been for a couple of years now. We used to live much closer and I would help him with the 'burb now and then, but that was years ago. We drove together to a couple of the board meet ups back in the day too. I think the wife and son have taken up most of the time he used to spend here, among other things.
I took a long "time out" and have only been back regularly for a year or so.

Re: Old members from the early days

CPNE from NH always posted a lot of fun stuff. (Chevy Parts North East) I think his son was on the board too.

Livrat and his son/father?? (Something like that)

There was a guy who went bonkers many years ago and flooded the site with a bunch of "Die" posts or something like that. After that, we have to wait for several minutes between posts or something. I can't recall his handle.

I forgot about CPNE and his son. I drove from Maryland to their place in NH and back to Maryland straight through years ago to pick up a cab. I was a lot younger then LOL.

We were just talking about them not being around at the Carlisle truck show a couple weeks ago. They would come down for the show. One year I left them put some (nice) stuff on my spots while they were there.

Here is a picture from '09 Spring Carlisle. Left to right with CPNE, CPNEjr, a friend, another son, members JC, Zork, and Mike Gross.

Re: Old members from the early days

CPNE actually made a post in the welcome area back in Feb of this year, I hardly ever go there, so I didn't see it. He made a few others in the same month and that was it. Previously, last posts were 2012??

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=817984

Livrat still posts fairly often.

I am still here, Even though I no longer have any 67-72 trucks or parts I still check in frequently to see how and what my "truck family" members are up too.

My son "Desert Rat" has not been on here in 5 years, he is pretty much out of the car/truck world due to health and personal reasons.

How about Bill72BB?? We actually met up with Bill and his wife a few years ago when they were traveling through our town. We had a lot of fun. I see he has not posted for several years now.

I remember Bill. Didn't he sell a BBC C/30 157" SRW w/service body on here in the last couple years? Could be longer, can't go by me

Larry sold his truck about a year ago. Hear from him occasionally.

Mark, have not seen or heard from LB in quite some time. Tell him HI for me next time you see him. Been some time since we've got together. I still do the swap meet at Century 2 in Wichita when it happens but that has been an on again, off again situation. Also do the swap meet at the State Fair grounds in Hutchinson but same there, on again, off again. How's your projects coming along? Been working on my 57, hope to get it to it's first show this coming weekend in South Haven. Radiator started leaking and had to pull it. Only one radiator repair shop in Wichita any more. Used to have three here in Wellington, now ONE left in Wichita. Times have sure changed.

Does anyone have any pics from the Missouri board meet? Seems like forever ago. I have grandkids almost as old as my kids were then.

Sadly, I don't. I only took a few and the camera I used was stolen long ago and the computer I saved them on died years ago too. I think the only ones I have are the couple that I posted after the event and that's only because the board software retains them. They weren't really about the event though. One was the Gateway Arch and one of the odometer of my HHR Panel turning 1000 miles on that trip. I still have the T shirts though. I wear one and the other is still in the bag it was in when Liz gave it to me.

I don't even recall taking any at the next one in Paris TN? I wish I would have because we saw two different Eiffel Towers in the same day. One in Paris, one in Kings Island along the highway on the way home. Andy rode with me and we hauled a seat for his 'Burb in the HHR on that trip.

Yep, Cliff. He just stopped posting and nobody knew why. I think the assumption was maybe a serious medical issue -- or worse.

If I remember correctly Shane was pretty opinionated and I think he may have pushed it a little too hard. I'm sure they were two different people.
