Correct exhaust manifolds 283/327 for 64 to 66 ??

Correct exhaust manifolds for 283/327 for 64 to 66? Are the manifolds center dump with no angle on the left and right? Are the manifold essentially the same except for the alternator mount bracket on the left side? I have a pair of right side center dump ram horn manifolds from a 63 impala that I believe will work on the truck as long as I’m not using an alternator bracket on the left side? My truck has a long waterpump so I don’t need the bracket mount on the exhaust manifold.

Getting the right manifolds center dump or not doesn't matter much since your water pump isn't correct anyway, so use what you need to use in order to get it running.

I have rams horn manifolds on my 64. They point straight down (guess that is what you are calling center dump?) and they work just fine.

The correct manifolds will dump straight down at the center for your truck. Since you don't need to use the alternator bracket, you can use both manifolds from the 63 Impala that you have if they both dump straight down

I plan on using a factory style Y pipe hence The importance of knowing the dump angle to match. I think you guys answered the question, thanks for the help!

Yep, my 66 has the y-pipe and has the center dump straight down manifolds.
