5.7 oil pressure sending unit

Okay, my oil gauge has been pegged for a long time and after having to swap the one in the Jeep last week I figured that it was disconnected.

So I finally have a look and it's really tight up in there above the oil filter but I stuck my fingers up there and the yellow wire either broke off or had been broke off and I just moved it so it's dangling now.

The existing sending unit which is probably original doesn't look like anything listed on O'Reilly's. It seems to have some sort of slotted "cup" covering the whole thing including wherever the wire is supposed to attach. I don't know if this cover is supposed to be removable, but it looks like you couldn't get it off anyway without unscrewing the unit from the engine and prying some tabs back ?

This is the one I found:

Does that look right to you all ?????

There's no cover for the blade connector other that whatever might be on the other end of the broken wire which I can't see any of because it's inside the slotted cover described above.

I guess I need to just order a new sending unit and then butt splice a wire addition and the female connector that goes on the end of the wire...?
