Carb spacers, BBC or SBC the same?

I have been attempting to figure out if the BBC and SBC for our trucks are the same part. Looks like it to me with the hoses are the difference between them.
I also notice some have the spark arrester and some do not. Never figured out why and when GM changed. Full disclosure, I copied the photos from the f/s section.

I don't have a parts manual to look it up. Any input is appreciated.

68 and 69 396 had a shorter spacer, about 2" in height. The 70-72 402 had the spacer that is pictured above. For 70-72, the spacer is the same on BB and SB but the rubber hose is longer on the SB.

Re: Carb spacers, BBC or SBC the same?

^^^ Good info. I read the title and was going to post a "yes" if both have QuadraJet. I call a carb spacer what goes under the carb. I call this part an air filter (housing) spacer.
