Talking WTB 1970 Blazer parts

**WANTED**
  • Looking for Blazer front lower dash speaker. Does not matter if working or not, but that will affect what the value is since NOS 4"x10" 10 ohm speakers are $80-$100. Cosmetics are key, however. Proper plug would be nice.. Found on another site
  • Original High Note Delco Remy horn in perfect working order. The cleaner the better. GM Part number 9000011. Found one on another site
  • NOS GM window crank handle 7752485-casting number on back 9718137. Only need the one..FOUND on this site!

  • 3937067 NOS or rechromed Dana 44 locking hub chrome housings
  • 3886791 OR 6270848 hood to cowl seal NOS

Re: WTB 1970 Blazer parts

I have bought the NOS 10ohm speakers you speak of. I learned that blazer speakers are their own breed. The blazer 10ohm speakers 4 holes are different. They are threaded. You can always thread the others but would require you to use a thicker screw thus having also to make the speaker grill holes bigger. The original blazer screws go right through the reg 10ohm 4x10 speakers. That’s what I encountered if someone has diff experience please chime in.

I'm wondering if you got some numbers mixed up for the number on the back...did you mean 9717838? I have an original window crank with that number. I also have an NOS one with that number on the back. Finding NOS with that number stamped on it is very hard. I'll PM you.

Here are some pics...the first pic is a used original. The last three pics are the NOS one I have for sale.

Re: WTB 1970 Blazer parts

The number I provided is a very old number, and was used in the June 1971 parts book, and yes the casting number is 9718137.

The 1732326 you are selling was referenced in the May, 1979 parts book as being the correct replacement crank handle at that time for 1967-1972 Trucks.

The handles appear almost identical, so I am definitely interested! The funds have been sent via Paypal! Thank you.

Located an acceptable replacement NOS Delco 10 ohm speaker with the correct threaded holes. Part number for posterity is 7933951...

Still need the brackets and steel perforated cover for those that might have a rougher one floating around...

The price was very good on this one. The seller accepted a $60 offer on it.

I saw his post. While the grill is close, I am holding out for an original.

Did find a sweet NOS front grille shell at Carlisle, but little else '67-'72 worth a hoot.. Still looking, especially the radio speaker grille and brackets..

For those who are looking, there are a few of these available. I bought one of these to put another 4"x10" speaker in back my factory center console. They are stamped extremely similar to the factory speaker grille, but the perforations are larger. Still has that OEM look and feel..
