Austrian Newbie

Hi guys,

thanks for lettin me join.

Name's Peter, I'm 33 and from Austria/Europe.
I just opened up my own company, a garage for American classic cars, here in Marchtrenk, Austria.

Had a few American cars alreday (a few 80s Caprice and Impalas, two AMC Eagles and a 94 GMC Suburban with the big block), but last friday I came across a great deal on Facebook and bought a 72 GMC C10 longbed.

I really love the 67-72 generation and I am thrilled to finally drive one on the streets.

The truck is in Oklahoma right now, but I'll have it here in Austria by the end of january and then I'll have about three months to finish her up for the new season.

Things I wanna do or need to do:
- swap the 350 for a 383 I already got in my shop here
- rockers and cab corners are gone, but new sheetmetal is already waiting
- new upholstery
- new exhaust
- new wheels (probably going for turbines, but not sure yet)
- custom rear roll pan
- some minor changes on the exterior to get the custom look (peep mirrors, front spoiler, etc)
- new paint
and maybe a top chop

looking forward to get to know you guys, have some good discussion and share my progress.
