C20 Rear Cab Mount question

Those of you that have C20's, did you replace the rear cab mounts with the C10 mounts and if so, did it affect the ride quality at all? I'm torn on whether to swap out the mounts on my '63. Part of me wants to revulcanize the originals but I'm not sure.

Re: C20 Rear Cab Mount question

I figure it's probably not much of a noticeable difference. Since I have to remove the rear mounts to revulcanize anyway, I may as well just put the C10 mounts on and if I don't like it I can always switch it back out.

I used the ones for a C10 and it worked perfect. I think the design for the C20 is poor and you can see how they separate and go bad.

My K20 had the rubber separated from the metal on the mounts. I sent them to Steele Rubber for re-vulcanization. The came out perfectly. Pricey but should be good for another 50 years.

Re: C20 Rear Cab Mount question

That is why the whole thing came up, my mounts are starting to separate as well. I had been looking at sending them to Steele. What was the turnaround time on your mounts? Just curious.
