Thanks for the info.
I don’t think I have ever seen another like it, a unique look. I liked it so much, I showed my wife, now she likes it as well. I have her wanting to change out the cover on our 72.
It’s always good to have her support!

Re: Drove This Home Yesterday

Went through the drivers door cleaned every thing up changed out plastic door panel fasteners, sprayed some lubricant on all parts inside the door now window goes up and down very easily.

Took door panel off and cleaned it up came out nice I think.

Had some arm rest from another build sitting on the shelf those will work just fine.

On to the passenger side……

Fantastic Truck. Getting these things a little better, bit by bit is the best. Great find. 👍

Thanks yea it is the best.

Every time I walk by it i think what’s next its almost a feeling like the old days of ditching school to hang out and work on trucks.

I keep at it until it rite.

Re: Drove This Home Yesterday

Had this tailgate band hanging on the shop wall for along time but i think it looks way better hanging on the truck gate.

Now to remove someone’s over spray off that bumper.

Thanks for all the kind words appreciate it.

Looked cleaner with the sport mirrors, but can understand you wanting to see what's around you.

Don’t really like the new mirrors and agree it looked cleaner with sport mirrors.

Time to dig deeper into the mirror stash to see what i can find.

Big mirrors rule. Especially with a lot of crazy snowbirds coming out of the woodwork at any time. Little mirrors are for the stylish. Big mirrors are for drivers who want to survive the asphalt jungle.

Re: Drove This Home Yesterday

Decided to focus on the interior for now as it’s going to be nice and warm soon and this truck will most likely move to the shop later for A/C add on and all engine tune up leaks tires wheels caps etc……

Installed the correct color carpet and it looks way better.

Working out the sliding rear window that I don’t think has been open in 30 years.

Then onto the dash pad and getting correct seat covered installed door seals etc….

It’s going to be a work on in between other trucks that I have going and it’s not a pressure type build.

Wanting in to drive around in the fall weather

Been driving the 67 now and having a blast in it took it to good guys a couple weeks back.
