Dirt Every Day Episode 132 (K5 Blazer Rescue) OMG...

Anyone else out there see the latest Motor Trend Dirt Every Day episode?

Long story short two guys who host an off road couldn't get a small block chevy motor to run in 3+ days.

I can't be the only one who was like:
*Number one cylinder wasn't firing
*Distributor probably 180 out
*Ya didnt't replace the wires...

For goodness sake, the episode was filmed at Summit Racing in Nevada.
They could buy the entire drive train and replace same day!

A small block chevy will run with 10 year old gas that smells like turpentine , 5 pounds of oil pressure , the timing way off and it will still run, bad but it will run , They probably spent most of the time looking for the OBD port to plug in their anal yzer .

Grumpy_Old_Man, you're totally on point. A SBC will run with everything off and even old gas! Heck they'll run on 4 cylinders, barely... I was totally bummed that they ended the episode without it even running or driving.
