I had a Manx styled dune buggy in the 60s but we had no dunes, so I called mine a street buggy. Loved that car and have often thought I'd like to have another but good Lord! They've gotten stupid expensive.

That will be coming. This is real and happening. My question is how 4cyl will fuel consumption be to be worth going small? I'm thinking one in an S10 or Toyota would be awesome. I don't care about a turbo. I'd be happy with 250hp n/a in a little truck. my son's V6 Toyota pickup (6spd) has 250hp and is plenty peppy. Pretty good on gas, but the same power out of less fuel would be great

I am terribly skeptical of small engines powering full size vehicles, so far as them holding up for long. Heck, I have never owned a 6 cylinder equipped vehicle. I just like a V8 and 350 ci seems to be about the best all around engine size for power and longevity.

I was thinking in downsized. 4cyl S10s hold up and move along just fine. One of these would be a gas. I'm not a big fan of the new 4cyl turbo fullsize trucks.
'72 Barth customization without ruining the vintage appearance. Nice!

Thanks, I enjoyed that. I saw another video they did about moonshining not long ago. I thought I recognized the '55, then I was sure when I saw the Barney Fife character and knew it was the same. They do a good job on shorts. Could do a good full-length I imagine
