I am for the 49ers and the Bengals to win today ,,if that dont happen then the Bengals and the Eagles in the Super Bowl with the Bengals as winners

Definitely pulling for the Eagles on this one, don't really care for KC.

I know of a guy who drives Tractor Trailer for Frito-Lay in Modesto California. He has been selected as one of the company drivers to represent Frito-Lay at the Super Bowl with two of the new specially wrapped Tesla tractors. Frito-Lay recently took possession of 150 new Tesla trucks. He won't be able to get in the game though, the company wouldn't spring for the tickets.

I am 100,000% against the eagles...But, I think they will methodically win in all facets of the game...

I don't know what the refs are going to do. They have favored both teams all year. IMHO.

Re: What team in the football play offs do want to win

Man the Eagles are like Rodney Dangerfield no respect. I hear people saying they had the easiest regular season schedule and then they get lucky to play the Giants and then the quarterback less 49ers in the playoffs. The Eagles have won because their offensive and defensive lines are old school smash mouth football dudes. I think it will be a good game with Chiefs but in the end our defense will get to Mahomes and he will tweak that ankle again. Not to mention half of the Chiefs receivers are injured. If that was not enough Andy Reid will forget to run the ball like he usually does (Just like his days in Philly) and the pass rush will get to Mahomes over and over. Then you look at the Chiefs secondary and they were getting burned all game by the Bengals.
It is cool that the two Kelce brothers are on opposing sides.

Congrats to the Chiefs ,,they won it fair and square ..

What all who watched did see was the coach of the Eagles Nick Sirianni during the National Anthem had tears streaming down his face ,, very touching to my wife and me ,,and Chris Stapleton played his guitar and made us proud with his singing of our National Anthem with nice clear lyrics every one could understand..

God Bless America

Re: What team in the football play offs do want to win

Chris Stapleton nailed the National Anthem. Proud to be an American.

Can`t comment on the half-time show, didn`t watch it. I wasn`t the least bit interested in the entertainer, which has been the case for a number of years.

Re: What team in the football play offs do want to win

Proud for the Chiefs and even the dastardly Eagles for making it a good contest. The homegrown Eagles' fans acted like...well...home grown Eagles fans.

As far as the half-time show...it was on but, if I had any interest at all in the entertainer, I would be hugely disappointed. Couldn't make out any of the lyrics. Which is likely just as well. Intended tunnel vision as to the targeted audience. And I don't think the choreographer gave much notice to the "woke" crowd. LOL!

I have already read a lot about the halftime show that can't be discussed here. One mention though, Morgan Freeman came out, pretty quick, to slam it for being the worst in Super bowl history.

Yep, a lot of emotion there. Much respect for that. And I ain't skeeeert to say my eyes get a bit foggy when Our National Anthem is played. I dunno, I think it is more than just being proud, for me. I think of what has been sacrificed and being grateful for that. Not to mentioned what may be getting pissed away.

There are a lot of Veterans in my family. Old and new. We know.

I think that shot of his tears rolling down his face showed us his character. Again, much respect.

Re: What team in the football play offs do want to win

I didnt have a dog in this fight. Good game until the weird holding call, kinda ticky tack for a super bowl game. And just running out the clock the way they did made the whole thing anti climatic. KC definitely owned the second half.

We turned on closed caption so we could understand the music. I very seldom watch the halftime show, not something that appeals to me no matter who is playing. But was surprised how low key this one was. I just sat on my butt and watched.

I thought America the Beautiful and the National Anthem were both nicely done.

I thought running the clock out was a poor choice too. Two downs on the 1-yd line, just punch it in and give us some action…

Re: What team in the football play offs do want to win

not enough action? this was the 3rd highest super bowl total score in history!

smart clock management is, well, smart.. Andy Reid ranks 5th most game wins at .641%

Q4 holding call stuck in your craw? well KC should have had 7 more on the board, Q3 Sanders CAUGHT & FUMBLED - Bolton was robbed of 6.. 2 scoop n scores by the same player would have been first in super bowl history!

several other less impactful poor calls on both sides but overall evened out for the most part - the better team won the contest!

That's whats fun about sports, we all have our opinions. But in the end I agree, the better team won the game.

There wasn't a single commercial that I would rank as SB worthy. I reckon the $$$ spent for the time took away production $$$.

Say it, brother. Eagles`#24 Bradberry admitted to holding Chiefs` #9 JuJu Smith-Schuster`s jersey and got caught. He manned up, respect to him. Discussion over.

The Chiefs got the short end as far as officiating went. The referee Carl Cheffers has a bad history with the Chiefs and it was no surprise.

Andy Reid played the ending perfectly, but maybe an anti-climatic finish for some. The Chiefs kicker Butker has struggled, so it wasn`t a sure thing. So yeah, I was a bit nervous about the field goal.

It was a fantastic game, especially for a Super Bowl. It came down to a field goal is the last seconds of a high scoring game, what more could you ask for.

GO CHIEFS!!!

I thought the Chiefs were crazy for throwing the ball. They were lucky they got the call (it was holding). Had they not got the call they would have stopped the clock for the Eagles and saved them a time out. They new they were playing for a field goal so why throw it? Run a play and make the Eagles burn a timeout.

my conspiracy meter was buzzing for sure. like you said WHY THROW IT AT ALL? that ball was clear out of the end zone, even the shirt pull wouldnt have gotten there, and mahomes was yelling hold as soon as he released it, but it would have been hard to see at his angle on the line and it was after his throw.... and then the corner says "yeah i held", oh then everything is ok.... right?

it was an exciting 57 minutes and 3 minutes of the worst football i have ever seen.

i think they have been dabbling in outcomes since 2006, jerome bettis won his ring, and it started a string of "feel good" wins of historic players like manning, and the new orleans win (drew brees is a talented guy but the hurricane town winning after the rebuilding?). i dunno. when they gave the chiefs 7 tries at a first down vs the bengals, i said huh? and they credited mahomes but the chiefs were split 50/50 offense and yards by penalty in that last quarter.

me? I think they want to have another GOAT like brady at any cost. I dont like philly or KC so its not like i had a stake in it, money on it, or even a reason to want one to win over the other.
