Guess the name and age of these cars - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Starting at the left and going counter clockwise take a guess at what year and make these cars are that are lined up to go through the car wash ..

Also guess the same for the ones lined up against the car wash building.. I have what is supposed to be the answers . {{{ I can see now after 26 looks that you all are to young to recognize the cars that your grandpa's owned,}}

The Hudson is easy but the year not so much because they didn't really change that much from year to year. The Chevy is the same. The others look like some sort of Mopar product to me. I want that 4 door Phaeton whatever it is. Might be a Buick.

My Grandpa owned a 50 Chevrolet Fleetline. He traded it in for a Corvair because it had 4 doors and got better mileage.

My dad had a black 48 Cadillac Sedanette that he bought when he got out of the Navy. He traded it in for a 59 Ranch Wagon when we rugrat's started showing up.

I usually do pretty good but not specific years and models on some. So not playin'!

Probably a late '40s Commodore, Chrysler, Dodge, Cadillac, Olds, and Lincoln up to the door. I think it's two Plymouths with a Chevy in the middle against the building. Just some W.A.G.s

You did not to bad as I seen on another site that a guy answered by giving each car a name ,, like geroge ,,Bart Ringo ect ect

I know of a couple guys in my past that named their trucks "OL Blue or OL Yeller"

Before my computer goes down as I am having issues with it ,, here is the answers to the car guess of nake and year

Counterclock wise from the left: 1948-49 Hudson Stepdown model. The light green car to the right is a 1946-47 Hudson Brougham Super 6 Plymouth, 47 or '48 Chevrolet Fleetline Sportmaster Sedan, 1941 Chevrolet coupe. The convertible at the front of the line Packard. Against the building l to r: about a 1946 Chrysler, Blue 48 Chevrolet, About a 46-47 Plymouth.

How did I miss the Packard. I have a Packard. I can see the nose a little now. I was thinking Buick because of the one at the end of Casablanca.
