WIW Panel truck seats

I'm debating if I should switch out the original seats from my 68 Panel truck for some later model Silverado seats. If I go with the newer seats, I'll probably sell these. They are in decent shape but the seat covers do not match, different material. They have the original mounts and the passenger seat flips up forward so that you can get in the back of the truck. Not sure what they are worth if I do sell them.

Trying to bring a 68 Panel Truck back from the dead. 396 Big Block, 4 on the floor, and a whole lot of rust.

Re: WIW Panel truck seats

They look like blazer utility buckets. Not sure if the tracks are the same as the blazer but the flip up passenger seat sounds just like a blazer. I’ve sold the blazer utility buckets for $350-$450 for the pair.

Re: WIW Panel truck seats

Bucket seats / sport bucket over utility / are in high demand especially if still in good shape like yours. I know that outfitted with original seat tracks you can easily ask $800 to $1000 for the pair. If you follow this forum you can search bucket seats that have either sold or are still for sale. Give it a shot / you'll be suprised what the going prices are. Good luck!

Re: WIW Panel truck seats

Thanks guys. That gives me at least a starting point. I found the option # on the SPID:
4AM2BA HD seat equip
I can't seem to find much info on the option number. I'm pretty sure they were the stock seats. Here are a few more pics:

Re: WIW Panel truck seats

The passenger seat was an option in panel trucks. Panels that didn't get that option have no bumps in the passenger side floor to receive the seat mounts, just a smooth floor. I'm pretty sure the tracks are longer/different from K/5s. Not sure on value for utility buckets these days. I think $300-$400 is the high end here. Definitely not worth as much as sport buckets and the brackets aren't K/5.
