Re: Maggie Valley NC
I regret to say that Dale is no longer with us. Passed away last year. The museum is still going strong. Dale was a hell of a good guy and is missed by many.

Re: Maggie Valley NC
Had a great time at the show. Thursday’s cruise was my favorite part. I even ran back up the mountain Friday morning to catch the sunrise. Talked with so many great folks. This is truly a brotherhood. Here’s a few of my favorites.

Re: Maggie Valley NC
Alright, alright, alright.
I just got off the phone with Rodney (the Guy that organized this show. He’s local to me ) He gave me the Quick rundown The gates open to the event 8 AM Thursday, with a cruise through the are that starts at 2 PM. Tomorrow I’m going to try to get by his shop tomorrow to get the whole schedule. Rodney used to hold a benefit show at our local Lowe’s but it got too big for their parking lot. I’m looking forward to Thursday |

Re: Maggie Valley NC
Ugh, they finally move it (used to be my wife's birthday weekend every year - mid July) and it's on the weekend I scheduled a vacation.
Weather looks gorgeous this weekend too.

Re: Maggie Valley NC
As usual, Rodney put on a great event.
Thursday was the only day I could go because of other commitments but we had a great time. We planned on “a couple hours” but ended up staying all day Talked to a board member, and was expecting to see more, but again I was only there one day. They have a nice swap meet area too. I scored a factory Heater control for my truck, in beautiful condition, for way less than half of what a new Reproduction one would have cost me. This same vendor had a pair of NIB (Not NOS) Sport Mirrors too. I didn’t ask what he wanted for them as I don’t need them. I’m definitely going to put this on my calendar for next year. I took some pictures of some trucks, but I’m having issues with finding them “in the cloud” I hope somebody has better luck than I’m having |

I was there. It was a great show with 260 trucks.
