Are suburban and truck leaf springs the same ?

I need to replace the rear springs on my 77 half ton short bed that has the factory 56 inch springs. Are the suburban springs in 56 inch length the same as trucks? Same length from perch to eye bolt? I can not find the 4 inch drop springs I have used in the past so I was wondering if the suburban application would be the same . I know they make drop leafs in 52" but I don't want to cut the bed support.
Thanks
Frank

You responded to my for sale add . I dont know if you saw my reply but the springs I have are from St.loius spring part number 22-547 . I would call them and inquire. I have called them several times for items and or advice . Very professional and you dont talk to someone behind a desk you talk to someone in the shop .

I believe the Suburban springs are a touch softer initially. I, However, just replaced my 1978 Big 10 springs with springs from a 1979 Suburban. 56 to 56 rears went right in.

Yes I did notice. Thanks for the part number. I sent you a message but if needed I'll get with them when I get back from vacation.
Thanks again.
