Sinking money in motor

I have a 1972 K5 Blazer that I'm looking to have a shop do a motor swap (I don't have ability to do it myself). Question is how much horsepower can drivetrain handle? I've seen some people on here say 500hp? 600?
Anyone have experience with BluePrint engines?
LS3 or 454LSX?!

Do you like it? I read a few forums mentioning bad experiences with their motors.

Re: Sinking money in motor

I've had no issues at all. There are several others on here that have them as well. They reported no issues. I'd suggest making a new thread entitled something like Blueprint Engine reviews, or do a search on this forum to see what others are saying.
