The tire was replaced free of charge. I'm very happy. America's Tire gets a "LIKE"

I flew to Billings and drove a company truck back. That first morning, the ditches were full of cars in Billings city limits, then it was just me and I would meet the occasional Fed Ex truck.

That first day wasn't much for sightseeing. Visibility was terrible.

The Ram was really stable, I drove about 50.

A bit late in answering about the big ol truck you bought in Montana ,, that is a parts getter for sure.. looks like you can put a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the bed and still have room at the tail gate when closed.. I bet it was a bit slick with a empty bed on icy roads ..

Re: My Facetruck thread.

K.B. I've always had a soft spot for 68 Charger's. I had one with a 440 when I was a kid. That one looks nice. Wish I could afford it now. I paid $650 for mine. It would probably cost that much for a fender now.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Dang, I can't decide which direction to head.

East toward Grumpy's place for steaks or west toward Poppi's shop to check out cars.

I am the Poppi around here. When the kids are here they head out to the shop with me.

Nothing gets done but we have fun.

I'd head for Grumpys....I'd be scared he'd eat up all those steaks before I got back from looking at cars..

Had "the talk" with my 12yo son today. He seems fine. I am traumatized.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat cutting machine and after a little shopping round, submitted a claim to his insurance company. The company expecting negligence sent out one of its men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine and he also lost a finger.. The Chef's' claim was approved

We don't worry about running out of steaks around here and when you get tired of steak there's always some turkey to round up . Ours just don't come wrapped in plastic

I would head for Grumpy's, but, I don't feel like freeloaders like me are welcome there, and he would expect me to work.

I have said before here, I tried work once, and didn't like it. I am sure it wouldn't suit me now.

Now I have seen enough out of Grumpy, that when he observed my worthlessness, he would give me an attitude adjustment, and all I have to do is walk upstairs for that, so I am going to sit right here close to the fireplace until TOTMBO hollers down that lunch is ready.

I am obviously bored.
