New old product! Hood to cowl seals!!

You guys have been complaining for years about the hood to cowl seals that have been available on the market until now! I listened, I sought out a couple "New Old Stock" hood to cowl seals and started working with one of my vendor to make a better part. Well after much back and forth I got my vendor to make a completely new part! I just received a few and they are GREAT!! See for yourself! They are almost perfect! Exactly like the originals, but slightly thicker! Give us a call! WES

Yes, we are keeping to our old pricing. $9.95 and remember they come with my lifetime warranty.

Re: New old product! Hood to cowl seals!!

I had heard that the Precision brand seals fit well and do not push the hood up. That is what I have in my stash. Do they not fit well?

Thanks again, Wes. When I start stocking I'll come knocking.

That's stocking parts for the finishing end of my project

Re: New old product! Hood to cowl seals!!

Precision brand were definitely the best ones out there. I have used them and they worked well. They were difficult to get to lay down though. They were also soft enough that they don't hold the hood up in the back. It's really a matter of how you want it to look once the hood is open. By the way it's precision that I worked with to make this better part. I just wasn't super happy with what they had and I am always working in the background to get parts improved. WES

Now this is cool. Precision is getting a deal here, they've got an experienced product developer on hand who knows these trucks inside out. Keep up the good work!

Maybe they should add you to their payroll?

Re: New old product! Hood to cowl seals!!

I am going to work on getting packaging that will allow me to ship these first class mail for the people who are just ordering the seal. That way the shipping won't be that high.
