72 CPP brakes and tube arms on 70 GMC

My brother in law bought a 1972 C10 truck that had recently been restored and had the complete set/like new from CPP that includes the drop spindles, 2 piston calipers in front with 13 inch rotors drilled and slotted with 12 inch rotors in back and disc brakes with the e- brake. Also includes upper and lower tube arms with the ball joints and the master cylinder. 5 lugs with the front coils

I have a 1970 GMC with drop spindle in front with disc brakes and original AArms and drums in back 5 lugs. My setup looks a little worn

I know the parts changed for 71-72 but is there any way to use these parts in my 1970 GMC? Could I just buy the outer tie rods for a 72? I thought I also saw the threads are different on the outer tie rods?

Some info from board member lolife99 and from CPP website
