1970 K10 Clutch Rod/Fork Mishap Question

Hello all,

I appreciate your help with this question!

The other day my clutch linkage came apart while I was driving down the road.

I found a rod under the dash had lost a pin holding it on the bracket.

I also found the rod that runs from the bracket mounted to the engine and the transmission fork, dangling down.

I have attached a couple of pictures but I placed the dangling rod where I thought it should go?

I found a picture of what I think I am missing but wanted to know where I should buy the replacement parts?

The pictures with the red circle and arrow, is this all I am missing? Do I just order #6 & #7 from LMCTruck? Are there different styles? Do I use the outer hole or the inner hole?

# 6 is the ball stud that is inside the bell housing and # 7 is the retaining clip that holds the ball stud and the clutch fork together.

So I am just missing #3 from this picture? It just slips on?

Yup, slips on. Spring is supposed to keep it in place. The rod in my 68 is long enough that it sticks out the other side and is threaded. I put a self locking nut on that side so it captures everything just in case

I have ground a nut in a v shape in the past that would get you going today while you order up the proper part # 3 from the diagram
