A 64-66 Chevrolet Crew Cab. Notice the wing window located at the rear of the back door compared to the back door of the C40. License plate from another country?

wonder if they did that to clear the door mechanism? also notice the rear door handle looks different, and is not recessed.

Defiantly an early 65441 A/C. Which translates to 65 mph, 4 window, 4 wing window and one under dash fan A/C system. Does anyone know if factory A/C was offered in the GMC trucks like it was in Chevy trucks in the later years? I think it was first offered in Chevrolet trucks in 1965, correct me if I am wrong. I also noticed that it does not have an under hood heater assembly. It looks like an aftermarket inside cab heater assembly was installed or was this a GMC thing?

there were 2 heaters; the deluxe one which extends to under the hood and the thrift heater which this truck appears to have and the other option was to not have one

I have five Chevy trucks that have either the thrift air heater system (one knob to pull for heat and twist to control the fan speed) and the deluxe heater system (three knobs to turn on heat, control floor or defrost door, control fan speeds) and all of them have the heater core and fan assembly box out under the hood. That is why I am wanting to know if this is an aftermarket heater or a heater system that was used only on GMC's.

Ok this helps. This is a 60-63 Chevy and GMC option that is refered to as recirculating air heat system. It only utilizes two levers and the heater core and fan are located inside the cab.

Canadian built St Catharines Auto Bodies LTD ambulances on a GMC base; Shorter models were available with 2 doors. Garden City ambulance service of Victoria BC owned a 1966 shorter version.
Here, these 2 ones were specially ordered by Hydro-Québec for their hydro dam project. They later bought 2 1964 Superior ambulances for other projects.

actually the Quebec ambulances are the same wheel base as the blue one. they are all special ordered. the blue one was originally brought in for the Victoria Fire dept and was later sold to Garden city ambulance and a few years later it all became BC Ambulance Service run by the province of BC. mine was also a 66. the one major difference that I see is the rear door; the window glass is wider on mine,
I see that spotlight on the back of the roofs. I have the one off mine. that was all that was up there when I got it.
mine also hah a chrome grille and bumpers
