It looks very nice. It looks like a 69 or 70 50th Aniversary truck

Looks like my longhorn. If it is as good as your slightly dark picture shows, it is probably a great deal.
I dont think Id sell mine for less than 5,000, and it looks very much like that one.

well, if it runs and drives as good as it looks, I'd buy it......considering something like a 96 with probably the same mileage and in not as good of shape would cost you around 12,000, and you the truck in the pic has alot more class than any 96 or so truck

I'm always suspicious of trucks that have had work already done to them. I'd rather buy a $1000 "fix me please" truck then get one that had a couple grand dumped into it. Pick it over with a fine toothed comb.

There was this guy I was working with who got the bug from me, but he didn't want to do all the work to fix a truck up. He wanted a 4x4 71 or 72. He saw this ad in the paper for one that had some work done. I think the person was asking $5500.

So he goes out there to look at it, and even though he didn't know what he was doing he could tell the truck had basically been ruined.

The guy selling it didn't know how to weld, so he cut sheet metal into square and rectangle pieces, cut out the rusted parts of the bed, and shaped these new pieces to fit, and riveted them into place. The truck was covered with riveted plates. Then he spraypainted everything with the cheapo spray paint from the hardware store.

...so you never know sometimes...
