engine performance

I have a complete tune port system, distibutor, ecm, wiring harness, and everything less engine! I also have a 350 engine and transmission out of a 94 Silverado with wiring harness and ecm. Can I put the tune port on that engine and tranny combo?
If so, what size cam would work best with this combo! I have 373
gears and headers to go with it. I am going to put this in my 70
C10. Or, should I work with the TBI engine?

Thanks!

If you have a complete TPI system USE IT! Not only do that make great torque, they look excellent. Don't mess with the TBI. It isn't worth the effort and expense unless you really want a little better gas mileage.

As far as the TPI working on your 350, I would check with some of the aftermarket TPI specialists to find out what if any head/compression/cam changes need to be made. It is important with TPI that the correct cam be run. The valve timing and TPI runner lengths work in conjuction to increase the volumetric efficiency. If the cam is not designed for TPI and the runner length, you will be degrading the power of the TPI.

If you decide not to run the TPI, you should put it up for sale on the parts board here first. I tried to find a good one a while ago but decided to go the easy route with a carb.

Good luck.
