Re: Skunkswifes 55 chevy

In the other thread you said that you spent $600 for it and then had the owner bag it and get it running. Was that still part of the $600? How long ago was 14? Just trying to get an idea of how long it sat in the field

No I bought the truck bone stock for 600. It had been sitting In a field since 91. My husband bagged it and I didn't want the straight six so my husband and I did the motor swap.

Re: Skunkswifes 55 chevy

Neet looking truck. Any more pictures?
That truck looks like a good candidate for a CLR scrub and wash.
I bet there is still some paint under there.

I was thinking the same thing. CLR and some flat or satin clear and you are set. There is a thread over at HAMB on it.
