Update!

Well this weekend was pretty Productive! Ive been Parting out a loaded 85' 3/4 burb so i made bank this weekend, Right after i made the sales of the doors and the gate i gunned it to Oriellys bought a new U-joint, 5qts of Valvoline VR-1 Race oil, A wix filter ,and three cans of Engine paint...and brake fluid. I changed the oil when i got back to the house then Sunday morning i went out and tore the engine down of all the accessories (belts,A/c,water pump, Carb , etc.) then i pour'd some ol gas on it and got to scrapin and scrubbin (after i taped off all the holes!) then i power washed it and began painting. I went with a viper red for the block and heads and a cast iron grey for intake. the valve covers and air cleaner are "semi gloss black" that came out like crap. so im thinking of doing the valve covers red like the engine the air cleaners alright. It's not Great but itll do just fine, i just felt the ol girl deserved a little color.







I Like to keep my shop nice and neat. LoL


















And how i left it for the day. Pending the weather tonight im going to hook everything back up besides the A/c set up ill be uninstalling it minus the in cab unit.

Thanks bud! im currently saving for a Engine build for her. Ive got a bored 350 4 bolt main im going to build into a fuel injected 355 to give me a little more power then what i got. she'll be ready for the road by the weekend!

Plan Update!
well after a discussion with my Buddys Eric and Leon, Im going to be doing an LS Swap instead of the fuel injected 355, Ill also be doing a Few other Major upgrades in the suspension Department that will make the ride a bit better and a little lower

Parts list as Follows
-5.7 Ls1
-Corvette Independent Rear suspension
-modded Vette Front suspension
-Coil Overs at all 4 corners
-4 wheel Disc
-1 piece Drive shaft
- boxed frame

Thats what ive got so far, Most of this will come from a wrecked donor car and parts we got layin around. This wont all happen at a fast pace like everything else has but it will happen within the year.

hahaha No my step brother just rebuilt an 80' Camaro for his first car ...nothin crazy but its pretty fast. I want to Over kill that and every other ride in our shop haha. i just want a simple, fast but Badass Shop truck lol

Update! Got a New side project for me and my brothers to build, 1969 Chevy Nova 2dr it has a 250 I6 with a 2 speed Powerglide. Dad brought it home for 1400$ and it runs and drives haha thats how it got here. Needs a lot of cosmetic work but its mechanically Solid. This weekend i started Gutting the interior, we picked up a new Pristine split bench for it along with a hood,new bumpers and some other misc. parts.



As far as Christine. I found out the 372 u-joint was the wrong one. so after 2 trips to O'riellys i finally ran accurate measurements and came up with a 1310 to 1330 ujoint Part number 353. So i got it installed in the truck now all i need is a 67-72 c10 panhard bar and the axle swap will be complete. I Also got the steelies and rallies painted black and so far ive gotten great reviews!

well It looks as though ol Christine may have found a new home. My Lifes starting to roll into the reality setting and sadly Christine is a big consumer of my time and money, so Today ive found her a new Good home. In Return im Getting this 86' K5 blazer as my beater. but i plan to remain on the forums and start a thread for the blazer im Deeming the "Rebel 5" It is not completely official yet but It is a great possibility. Sorry guys

I backed out at last minute , I couldnt handle the trade off Christine in the short time ive had her has grown on me, I was Also recentley Promoted to Vp of The HEAPS C.C out of fort worth so she will be have a bit more attention as for time and money in my life i figured out the fine details and made room to keep her haha so CHRISTINE WILL PREVAIL!

Update! I Spent a Good chunk of my weekend and pay check Pulling my truck in the shop to get her" Road Ready". I plan to drive her to school Friday! so far the only thing keeping it from being legal is the driverside tail light,horn and brakes being bled. Got some new tires to put on my rallies for the front and rear should have them on tuesday or Wednesday at the latest!

Well the Awesome guy i got the wheels and tires from threw in a set of Drop coils he wasnst going to use! brand new! 3" drop coils for the rear only but they were free so not like i lost money haha. traded him my rallies an ntake and some misc. 71' c10 parts i had.
