What I would do if I won the lottery - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

What I would do is buy a brand new 2002 Chev and Ford P/Us, and pound the rat sh!t out of them, and see if they really are "tough"! There was a commercial on TV the other day about Ford PU showing a dude yanking this huge tree around with his truck, and some dude from Ford was saying his customers "still have thier old Fords with 150000 miles on it and it still runs like new" Yeah right! Give me one day, and I'll have 'er in pieces, packed in a little cardboard box! I'm sick of hype, and I want to REALLY test how tough these trucks are! Of course I'd really have to win the lottery, then I wouldn't feel bad about wrecking $60000+ worth of trucks! haha

Yeah it's humorous. Like jumping 4x4 trucks in comercails, and such, how many people unless they are rich, go out and abuse there new trucks like that?

But I will tell you this, the New GMCs are probably the best, work trucks ever built. They have indistructable Alison Trannies, the most powerful engines, avaliable, and the highest tow rating. Plus the countless advantages of the QuadSteeing while manuvering in the city, and towing on the Freeway. I seen a Road Test on these And I was very impressed they had the AWS off, towing a trailer, at like 75mph, and jerked the wheel quickly into the other lane, the trailer and truck where all over the road, then preceded to turn the AWS on and did the same thing only driving faster, and not one sway or swinging of the trailer or truck just a very quick lane change. Crab steering! Awsome simply awsome!

I would do all of that, and they trick out a few 67-72's and possible buy a Thunder Racing Chevy, Fox Racing Chevy, and a Cadillac Escalade CTS(new 580hp Twin Turboed Escalade)

I dont know much about new F*rd or Chevy s but I drive a 2001 Dodge Quad cab. this piece of junk is pissing me off more and more every day especially the days I write the check for it. To pay over 40K for a truck and have your wife run the front drivers side panel into an ALUMINUM awning support and cave it in and not even scratch the support just blows my mind. I wish I could talk the wife into dropping the cash into my truck

I love how these trucks are showed sliding through MUD!! Christ, I can slide in mud with my stinkin piece of crap car!! Big whoop! I want to see real stuff, not peeling out in the muck! You can do that with a ride on lawn mower!

Also, if I won the lottery, I'd buy myself a canon! Then I can blow the sh!t out of my vehicles if they give me hassles! If you read my other post about oil pressure/change, I forgot to mention how much of a b!tch it was to get the oil filter off!! The SOB that owned the truck before me must have used an impact wrench to put the oil filter on!!!! I broke lots of tools, stabbed holes in the oil filter with a screwdriver, just about went on a search for dynamite, but I got the bugger off!! I put the new one back on like it should have been in the beginning!
