cheap ls harness

I can't seem to find a decent original harness that's unmolested for a decent price close by, but I remember someone on here reviewing an eBay PSI clone. Anyone with experience with them recommend those? Which did you get?

I need dbc, 3rd gen, with 4l60e with vortec intake.

Re: cheap ls harness

Cheap eBay LS harness 🤔. I bought one of those harness and used it with great success. We used it on a 1938 Chevy Sedan. It works and cranks the engine. We haven’t put it on the road. But if you look at the gauge of the wire you’ll notice a difference. For a show vehicle I’d used the name brand, especially if you want and need it custom and quality. Remember it’s cheap and generic. But if is for quick cheap setup it’s worth the time.

We used one of those harnesses in my brother’s 66 and it’s been his daily driver since September of last year. Zero issues. Right after the swap, he drove it to Cruisin the Coast (4 hours away).

I bought one. Seller out of Texas with a good rating.

Whoever did the swap butchered the wiring something fierce so the truck runs like crap. I’m hoping to fix it with the new harness instead of trying to trace every wire. I’m sure the new one will work better than what’s in there now.

Good isn’t cheap and cheap isn’t good, think of the effort your going to put into installing this harness, a couple bucks doesn’t mean much when you start having issues...my .02

@prodjay10, I have a stock unmolested, DBW harness. You welcomed to have it. You can play with it to remove the wire like on lt1swap.com. Pay for ride and it’s yours. I’ll even throw in a pcm.

Re: cheap ls harness

For those of you using the Ebay harness what do you do about the 3 wire MAF, I made sure to order the Vortec 4.8 5.3 6.0 DBC harness but what I received is really a LS1 harness, it did come with the 8 injector adapter tails.

Just reading through, out of curiosity and noticed the offer dec010974 made up and wanted to point that out...that was a nice gesture.

Re: cheap ls harness

I have used the psi clone harness from eBay and it worked great. I think it was only $120.00 for a ls1 and a t56, but I used a th400 instead. The computer can be mounted under the dash or the seat, and come with the firewall grommet.
