Beth's Memorial Truck (Tribute Truck)

Grant Bolt, owner of Matchless Brewing ( a huge C/10 guy with a big heart!) Produced a batch of American Pale Ale in Beth's memory. He brought me over the first 2 cases from the run and I cried like a baby! Beth had a large following of people who grew to love her because of the battle she fought so mightily for her life for over 3 months and finally lost and passed away. I posted daily while I was in the ICU because it was my only release after talking to doctors and nurses and seeing Beth so ill. When she passed the response was almost overwhelming. My heart was ripped from my chest, I could barely walk and what got me through each day was the love from my family and the love from the C10 community. Cards, donations to charities and well wishes still come in today. One of those people who cared so much was Grant. Grant was always concerned not only for Beth (witch meant the most to me) but for me also. He was always in contact with me to make sure I had food to eat (I was at the hospital more than 20 hours a day) and of coarse some beer to drink when I got back to my 5th wheel. Grant has a heart of gold! Well one day he was over at my shop and he was looking at parts and our conversation turned to Beer. I just casually said it would be cool to make a beer that would be in honor of Beth. That's all I had to say and I was commissioning a rendering for what came to be known and "Tribute Truck" and designing a memorial to her. Long story shortened Grant came to my shop yesterday carrying the first 2 cases of beer that came off the line in her honor witch is what made me so emotional. I don't want this to turn into a commercial but just let me say it can be purchased from their online store soon. www.matchlessbrewing.com I will also ship to people who want it but they can not ship to. You guys have been a great source of support for me and your love for Beth overwhelming. That's why I thought you might like to see one of the things we have been up to. WES

That's really cool. It's good to have a community to support you in difficult times.

Tasty ale too. I put a can above a little garage "tribute" of my own. My step dad's license plate, Old Retired Fart, Semper Fi, a picture of our elementary school in resin my mom & PTA made in the 60s, and my father's shoes They kind of just ended up there, not a plan to it.
