Question outside mirror for my 1952

I have been looking at different outside mirrors from peeps to stock. What has been your experience? I'm about ready to weld the factory holes shut as I do the body work on my 1952 GMC. Thanks!

I had those same questions when I was putting my 53 together so the next show I went to I took some pics.

Re: outside mirror for my 1952

I was a the local independent biker store a while ago and was looking at their mirrors and gas fillers. the counter gal said a lot of rodders use the after market bike mirrors. ricers are using the flush popup gas fillers. I was thinking about it but worried about paint chips.

That's alot of good info! Anybody using the stock arms with 5" round mirrors? If so how long are the arms? Do they shake or vibrate in the sock location? send pictures if possible. Thanks to everybody!!!!!!!!
