Roadster Shop Suburban build gallery

https://roadstershop.com/galleries/1969-suburban/

I check in on their builds from time to time...generally just because I love their fabrication skill.

I would guess easily $300K if not more. I do enjoy watching what can be done with an unlimited check book.

Re: Roadster Shop Suburban build gallery

Sometimes I can be easily confused. What are the pipes crossing over behind the rear sill for?

I thought they were making room for an intercooler but then it looks like it's naturally aspirated. What's in front of the condenser?

That looks like an LT4 crate motor, which is supercharged, but the intercooler is integral to the intake on top of the motor.

As best I can tell, those pipes across the rear are part of the rear mounted A/C unit they have mounted in the spare tire well.

Id love to see these guys do a Suburban build using their 4wd chassis...maybe after I win the lotto!
