coil and leaf springs

Does anyone know if the front coil springs and the rear leaf springs are the same on a 78 c10 and a 82 suburban. 2 wheel drive.

Re: coil and leaf springs

Maybe.
1/2 ton? Engine and options?
The coils will swap, but there are a large number of different rates. A 3/4 ton ‘burb with a big block and A/C will have a lot different spring than a six powered heater only base 1/2 ton.
Similar on the rears, but even more fun is there are multiple lengths. Tape measure will tell on lengths, number of leaves will give a guess at spring rate.

See the recent post on leaf springs as an example.
