I always wondered what the holes in the plug-ins was for and I am kinda disappointed after finding out just what they are used for ..( I have used the holes to micky mouse wires twisted through the holes before for christmas out door lighting on tree away from the house )
,,and even then it was in plastic bag.

Anyway getting back to what the holes are for ,, they are there ONLY for MANUFACTURING PURPOSES

Away to hold them while a being made.

Thats what I was thinking ,,^^^but it's mot likley stronger for holding big heavy metal pieces together while you weld.. it prtty neat though and well thought out to build

I was thinking "But that's only one". I guess you get a stronger clamp down along with quicker and easier release and clamping once set
