Just finnished, thought I'd Share

Thought I'd post up some pics of my latest project, this is a 91 s10 blazer that I have owned about 13 years or so, It used to be my daily driver, its been used and abused way more than any vehicle should. About 4 years ago I got a new DD and the s10 went to the hunting club, 2 years ago it came home and sat behind the barn not being used at all, Last year my 17 year old son wrecked his 86 Z28 and the old blazer was put back into daily driver status. This old truck has been painted camouflage and then painted flat black, well my son drove it for almost a year with no complaints, so I decided to update the old truck for him instead of buying something else. the 1st pic is all I had of it before we started and that was taken 4 years ago.

We sanded the truck down, no body work was done, and sprayed the bottom with Valspar tractor and implement paint (kubota orange) using a HVLP sprayer and the top was sprayed with rustoleum bedliner from wal-mart using a textured spray gun, same as the ones used to spray ceilings. I decided on the bedliner because the truck was caught out an a baseball sized hail storm 2 years ago and was cover with dents, the bedliner material filled in the dents, paint and body work in one step, LOL. bought him some new tail lights, an old set of wheels off craigslist and the job is done, in all the update cost about 350.00, and it gives him something that looks a little better to drive to school.
