Re: Let's see some Blue 67-72 trucks

My '67 has taken on some other colors. [correct front sheet metal] But it's still mostly blue. And I added another Blue Chevy to the bunch.('35)

Re: Let's see some Blue 67-72 trucks

Dusted off a corner on my newest truck. Paint/chrome is actually in decent condition. After a good buff I'm sure it will shine.

Good thing I found a spot of rust and could break off a piece of paint so I can take it in to figure out a paint match. Have no idea what colour it is.

Re: Let's see some Blue 67-72 trucks

I painted my ashtray today. the original had screw holes from a previous CB radio microphone mount. I decided to give www.automotivetouchup.com a try. Dang I am very impressed! This matched all the other original single stage 50 year old OEM interior paint spot on. The color, of course, is Hawaiian/Medium Blue, code 510. The paint comes in basecoat (flat) only, so you'll need to finish it off with a clearcoat. If anyone is in need of a nice factory match in a can or small touch up bottle, I'd certainly recommend them. I have not tried the touch up bottles, but may get one to be safe.
