They are disc up front. Don't know if they were converted, they were that way when I bought it. Never thought to ask.

?????

That truck really looks like a 71 or 72???? Do you have any closer pictures? Interior maybe? Does it say Cheyenne on the fender???? Does VIN number match the title?

Sorry for so many questions, but it looks like a really nice truck!

Oh, one more question. Are the Tow Hooks factory (picture)?

Thanks, Dan

Dan,

Yes the vin matches the title. The title states it's a 69.
I know the grill is from a 71 or 72.

I bought the truck a year ago from a guy that brought it down from Wyoming.
Yes the fender tags say cheyenne.

I don't know if the tow hooks are factory.
I have to borrow a camera to get more pics- give me a day or 2.

yes it's a good working truck, I drive it 2 times a week and it has made many 300 mile trips. It's just a little hard on the wallet (ga$)

Check the mirror mounting, if its a windshield its probably a 71 but if its roof mounted its probably a 69 then since why would someone goof with that.

Factory Windshield mounted Rear-View Mirrors were a 72 only configuration.
The 71 models were the only year to have raised reinforced pad for the rear view mirror mount.
Later year cabs had a cab-vent inside the drivers door though I am not sure what years.

Hey, learn something new. I wasn't sure of the break point on the mirror but figured it might help from a picture to see where it was mounted at to see if its a later model or earlier model (67-72) years that is.

Then why does the VIN state it's a 69?
also my title says its a 69.
What's the deal??

The truck is probably a 69 with a 71 or 72 front clip and front axle
The 72 doors have a screw that is visable on the inside near the vent window latch, it has a recess for the crew.
Is there a vent on your cab near the vin plate?
Does the vin start with CK or have a K in it?
Is there a Glove box data sheet?
Check the numbers that are on the frame inside the engine compartment near the front to see if they are close to the same.

It is a very nice looking truck regardless of what year.
