I was 2nd in line. Even offered more than asking price but how does the saying go? A fool and his $30,000 plus truck are easily parted?

It being a scam makes sense because I kept offering to meet, bring cash and he kept asking if I could beat a wire transfer? What is BAT?

It's..bring a trailer..... An online auction site,that is way better than eBay. You can actually communicate with the sellers on a more direct basis. In the final minutes of the auction,if somebody places a bid,another minute is added to the auction time,that way there is no sniping.check out 1972 chev in search and you'll see that truck. I checked it out at the sellers house and it sure was a nice truck!!

Hey Rabe I guess Salty types a little faster than you, look at those post times. Now that's a photo finish. There seems to be a lot of these scams lately, phoney low prices on desirable cars. Buyer beware.
