any suggestions for lining the doors back up on a 72 c-10

ive gotten them close , the body lines are straight but when the doors are closed they are even with the body but the upper body line is protruding out further than the line on the cab . any suggestions ? thanks in advance for any advice .

are you able to share some pics, right off the top of my head some of the best fittings doors that I have seen have had crazy additional washers put in between the hinges and the A pilar or hinges and the doors themselves, this was in addition to the factory style shims, how are your hinges, have you tried to wiggle and twist them off the truck in yoru hands, or at least with the doors completely off of them to see how much play they got, sometimes only one say the upper one is worn out too much, and you will kill yourself trying to align them doors with it like that, but yeah a pic or two would serve us best

Check out the link here. He gives some good tips on lining up the doors and sheet metal. Also make sure the hinges are not sagging.
