In windshield antenna

Well my radio reception has gone to pot of late, and when I glanced at the cable, it's unglued from the windshield. Can it be repaired or is there actually a wire connection that's broken. The windshield is less than two years old.

Re: In windshield antenna

there should be a male side button that is epoxied to the windshield that connects to the antenna wires in the glass...if that's broke off your outta luck...there is also a pigtail with a female side button... they snap together like a button on a jacket...on mine the wires on the pigtail were what was broke..
the pigtail looks similar to this...
