Resuscitating an oldie but goodie thread. It’s dumb but I’ll tell ya.. I went to school to be an audio engineer. I know, I know stupid choice for a career but the 08 crash hadn’t happened yet and the major studios were still going strong but I digress. Well, I also happened to be quite fat at the time. Ergo, I was the round mound of sound or Soundmound for short as my “professional” moniker. Truth be told I uh, misappropriated, the title from a stereo guy in Miami my older friend had work on his fox body stangs. Hal Whizzen the round mound of sound. It stuck and here we are. Still beats my high school football Knick name, Buddha……

True nickname Weasel had since high school. Was already taken when joined the board, so 29 GM stands for Kevin Harvick when drove for RCR and GM think everyone knows.

Glad to see this pop back up. Welcome, Soundmound, to the site and weasel to the thread. Still hoping that someday we will hear from Ricky - Snickers, or Ricky's - knickers... in the meantime, I read some of the old postings. Happy_dan, you were the first one to respond. A man who has been married to his current wife for as long as you have, has as many daughters as you have, is still happy, and is nearing retirement, is doing many things right. My hat is off to you. 1slo64, your explanation made me laugh. I assume you like it that way. If not, can we help with some hot rod tricks, haha? leddzepp, as you said, the origin of your name is obvious, I think most are able to trace it back into the band, one of my long-time favorites. And is that the simple reason for the screen name - favorite of yours too?

Years ago one of my wifes girlfriends would say Rudy Rudy Rudy when she saw me. I have no idea why, my name is actually Phil, but it stuck. When I started using the inner web I needed a user name and since I was into street rods, I put the two together and came up with RodnRudy.

Been hooked on these trucks for 43 years, I got the truck I wanted as a high school kid about 4 years ago and it makes me feel like that high school kid every time I climb in (daily) so it's my time machine and the license plate says TYMCHNE.
