72 AC air flow issues

Hi Everyone, I have a 72 GMC K2500 with factory air. I'm getting air out of ac vents but can't get it to come out of the defroster/floor vents. Not sure if its a cable or vacumn issue. Thanks for any ideas and help.

Most likely your flapper inside the diverter box is broken.

Thank You Sir, have to dig in when the weather improves. Cold and snow for the next 2 days. LOL

The flapper door is controlled by a cable, you will want to check that also. I believe you can verify if it is moving the lever before you disassemble the system.
