66 c10 LWB fleetside bed dimensions

Hi everyone. I tried to look but didn't have any luck. I am assembling a new bed for my C10 and can't find dimensions for how far apart the bedsides should be and where are good places to measure from. I am using all aftermarket parts with the exception of the floor. I'm using a used 67-72 steel bed floor. Appreciate any help I can get.

Your front panel and your rear cross member will dictate how far apart the bedsides are. Once it is together, you may need to pull the tops of the end of the bedsides together a bit. This amount will depend on the tailgate. Measurements won't really help with any assembly, you just have to put it together, and tweak where you need to.

We built this bed from all new parts.

Truck turned out nice!

It actually had no bed, it was a factory flat bed C20. No bed supports. So, I just made cardboard templates from my C10, and bent them up on the brake.

Looks like I will need to get a tailgate. Thanks for the suggestion.
