Re: Copy Original Pattern On Used Ring & Pinion Even If Not Ideal?
Hi PJ. Boy that's a lot of business, but you saved $1200 bucks.
The differential shop gave me a detailed break-in protocol -- several 20 mile runs, punctuated with 30 minute cool downs. Just running 3 miles to the supermarket and back won't do, they said.

Guys give you free stuff. Just pay shipping. Once, I sent some L6 Manifold hold down widgets to a guy in Central CA, and got stiffed on the shipping reimbursement, but I heard he got hit with medical issues, so I didn't get too bent out of shape. Other members have restored my Faith in Humanity. It's all good.

I _should_ go out and work on my Stepside project instead of goofing off on the internet inside under the swamp cooler, but it's 106* and Sunny w/ a 3 knot wind gusting to 6.
Actually, that's perfect spraypaint weather.

Sounds challenging to keep your sweat from dripping on the paint
