Painting Springs and Sway Bars

What is the general idea about paint on springs and sway bars. Is a flex additive needed? Are there any rattle can options?

Good to know. Thank you for input. I just want to do a rattle can refresh. So sounds like it will hold up to the level I need.

No flex agent required, clean prep, and spray.
if bare metal use an etching primer, beforehand.

As long as there are not 10 coats of hard lacquer paint it won't crack/peel.
