Vinyl conditioner?

Any recommendations on a good vinyl conditioner? My old seat cleaned up really nice with just soapy water, but it needs something to help bring it back around. I've seen other posts about using mineral oil, or any of the other leather/vinyl products out there.., I think 3M makes one called Vinyl Restorer. Just wondering what others may have had good luck with. Thanks!

Re: Vinyl conditioner?

I like Surf City Garage products. I have used Dash Away for cleaning and Voodoo Blend Leather Rejuvenator to keep the Softopper I had on an '85 Jimmy like new. Used it on the original vinyl interior, too. You can see and feel the difference after using.

I've had good results with 303 Protectant.

Re: Vinyl conditioner?

Thanks. I've heard others with good things to say about 303 as well.

I can't find the thread, but I did find my notes. The product I was trying to remember is Leather Magic. They make a vinyl softener. But looking at the instructions, I don't know if I'd want to try it on my seat. It says that it removes the outer layer of vinyl. So, that might be a little too aggressive.

Leather Magic makes amazing products. I'd give their vinyl softener a chance.
