American Powertrain Hydramax clutch question

I was wondering if anyone here had used an American Powertrain Hydramax clutch master cylinder kit on a their 67-72 pickup. I recently purchased a whole setup flywheel to driveshaft Magnum t56 with the Hydramax kit included. I have every piece of paperwork that came with it new. I cannot find any pics or videos related to where to mount the master cylinder on the firewall of my 67. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I would just call them. You’re paying the dough for service so they should help you out. I just bought a complete kit from SST for my Monte Carlo (same deal, distributor for tremec). They have helped me with tech questions.

Yes. I installed a complete Hydramax clutch kit this past winter. You have to install the linkage to the pedal in order to determine the location. Mine ended up between the engine valve cover and the master cylinder but I ran an after market set of pedals. Make sure you follow the instructions because if you end up with the wrong angle the clutch pedal linkage will bind up when you press the pedal. When its done, the master cylinder for the clutch will be on an angle. Mine was a pain in the A** but it turned out nice and is really nice to drive as opposed that old mechanical hard to push system. American Power train kit is top notch.

I have the same kit purchased from Captain Fab. I wasn't sure it would work with the Hydramax slave. I plan on using the American Powertrain pieces since I have the whole kit, slave cylinder and all. The Captain Fab stuff is top notch, the Captain needs to school American Powertrain on their instructions.
