A lot of these comments are not going to work on a GenIII engine. With a 2006, you are pretty much stuck with using a 2002-06 pedal. I have heard of people using the diesel pedal you posted a pic of, but others have had problems with it. Never personally tried one myself, so have no firsthand experience with it.

Yeah I heard you have to use the original TAC module from the 2006, the earlier pedal assembly along with the earlier wiring harness, with a couple wires swapped. Have the TAC pinout for the 2006 TAC module/ pedal assy, just need to find the pinout for the 2000 setup so I know I get the connecting harness pinned out correctly.


It is my understanding the the big difference between the 2 setups is that the earlier units use 3 potentiometers in the pedal while the later version only use 2. But from everything I read the first 2 that used are the same in both eras. So when using the earlier pedal with the later TAC module it just ignores the 3rd potentiometer.
