I have a 78 chevy k10 scottsdale. I want to swap the grill to the square lights. I would use the front end dress up kit from lmc. would this work?

I think you need the whole front end off the later model. Plus you have to mildly cut slits into your cab.

fenders core support and hood are different, unless you find a 1980 square headlight grille.
